About Us

scholaris LLC provides next generation innovative applied STEM programs to kids of all ages. The pandemic learning loss is more enduring than previously thought and media reports suggest that many months of learning will be needed just to get students back to pre-pandemic levels. These pre-pandemic assessments were not optimal as data from PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) 2019 places the US in 30th position (out of 64 countries) in Mathematics.

Our vision at scholaris is to create excellence in STEM. Excellence in STEM requires:

  • Perseverance when difficulties are encountered or when desired outcomes are not occurring as intended
  • Solution-oriented mindset, seeing difficulties as opportunities for learning
  • Critical thinking skills development and creativity to apply lessons learned in one STEM area to another STEM area
  • Academic rigor in the relevant STEM area being explored in the projects undertaken
  • An optimistic attitude where fear of STEM is retired and the student believes that they can learn STEM successfully if they apply themselves
  • Students being motivated to learn based on the engaging experience of the classes

We immerse students early in STEM as research has proven this is the most effective way to create future innovators in STEM. Our aim is to make kids appreciate how science and technology are used in our daily lives and to appropriately teach STEM to respective age groups.

scholaris was started by a management consultant who has a background in information technology/data analytics, as well as other disciplines, and has many years of experience in both consulting and education. This background is infused in the curriculum to ensure that the curriculum taught is current and applicable for the work environment that attendees will encounter in the future. Having a passion for Mathematics, his vision is to create programs that de-mystifies STEM and make them understandable to all attendees. Project based learning is used to teach STEM in a team environment.
