We employ a project-based approach, integrating a diverse set of fun technology projects to reinforce and apply concepts.

Our Programs

Robotics

Our robotics program uses advanced programmable robots that will introduce kids to the concept of coding using various software languages based on the robots being used. Languages used in the coding include Scratch and Python. Students will learn to build robots capable of performing desired tasks and then program them using the relevant language to execute the tasks. The curriculum has varying levels of complexity to match a student’s pace. By building and coding robots, students will learn important engineering concepts.

Software Programming / Website Development

These courses will dive deeper into the principles of coding, development of algorithms and ultimately apply the principles learnt to develop and deploy simple websites. Various programming constructs will be introduced depending on the age group of the students and the project being executed. Topics to be covered include, but not limited to:

  • Creating Algorithms
  • Programming using Python and other languages
  • Javascript
  • CSS
  • HTML and other web page construction tools
  • Popular Python libraries such as matplotlib, SciPy and NumPy
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Projects will incorporate mathematical activities so that the links between technology and mathematics can be appreciated.

Electronic Engineering

Here we focus on electronic circuitry and how to design circuitry to achieve one’s aim. The level of electricity is perfectly safe for kids as it uses low voltage batteries while showing kids how circuits work. They will learn how to connect different elements of a circuit, what happens when components are shifted and why this happens.

3D Modeling

These projects focus on designing and printing 3D objects. The objects can then be used for various tasks, whether as inputs to robots or other similar type use. Prior to printing, the modeling aspect involves ensuring that the design of the proposed object is optimal for its intended purpose.

Our innovative 3D modeling programs are utilized throughout our curriculum and at special events.

STEM+ Programs

In addition to our core STEM services, we provide early immersion in life skills that will help students thrive holistically. The first of such programs to be introduced is our Financial Literacy Education program. This program introduces students K2-12 to the concepts of money management, investments, and entrepreneurship. Research has proven that starting financial literacy education in the elementary years is crucial in shaping future behaviors and relationship with money. Our approach is to integrate core STEM principles into the money lessons to further reinforce key concepts.

We also offer STEM themed birthday parties, camps and group team building events.

The Math Café offers Math tutorials for Middle and High School students. Taught by knowledgeable tutors, the Math Café aims to provide intellectually challenging support for students of all levels. We build confidence in Math and focus on the core concepts so that students know how to approach Math problems and topics as well as comprehend why they solve questions in a particular manner.

Special Events and Camps

We are available for birthday parties and corporate events. For birthday parties, we primarily use our robotics programs but can customize any of our programs for use upon request. Camps are offered in both winter and summer. They are typically one week of either half day or full day depending on the curriculum being taught.
